Description

This Watermelon Gin Fizz is a refreshing and summery take on the classic gin fizz cocktail. Made with a sweet-tart watermelon juice and a floral gin, this silky smooth cocktail is a must make this summer! 


Ingredients

Watermelon Purée

  • 3 cups cubed watermelon
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey

For 1 drink:

  • 3 ounces watermelon juice
  • 2 ounces London Dry gin
  • 3/4 ounce egg white (1 egg white)
  • Club soda, to top (about 1/2 ounce)

Instructions

Watermelon Juice

  1. Add watermelon, lemon juice and honey to a blender and blend until smooth. Pass through a fine-mesh sieve. Discard pulp. 

 

Watermelon Gin Fizz

  1. Add 3 ounces watermelon juice, 2 ounces gin, and egg white to a shaker and dry-shake (without ice) for about 15 seconds.
  2. Add ice and shake until well-chilled.
  3. Double-strain into a highball glass or rocks glass over 2 ice cubes.
  4. Top with the club soda.
  5. Garnish with a watermelon wedge. 

Notes

Watermelon juice can be made up to 3 days ahead of time.
