Apple Ham and Cheddar Quesadillas

Description

Move over mac and cheese, these Apple, Ham and Cheddar Quesadillas are about to become every kid’s new favorite meal. They are ready in 15 minutes and easy for the busy back to school season.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large whole-wheat tortillas
  • 8 slices McKenzie Uncured Ham
  • 1/2 crisp apple, sliced thinly
  • 4 slices McKenzie Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Lay tortillas on work surface. Top half of each tortilla with 2 slices of ham. Top ham with apple and cheddar cheese. Fold tortilla in half.
  2. Heat griddle over medium-high heat. Add quesadillas, and cook until browned and the cheese is melted, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Serve with honey mustard.

Reheating Instructions

Reheat in a non-stick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat until hot and crispy.
