SERVINGS

Ingredients

Heat oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and then add your turkey. Crumble the meat with a wooden spoon until it’s broken into smaller pieces and is no longer pink.

1

Sprinkle the meat with chili powder, cumin, salt and cinnamon. Stir the seasonings well over heat until it’s fragrant. Pour in half of water and stir to scrape any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Remove the skillet from the heat and scrape the mixture into the insert of a large slow cooker.

2

Add the peppers, zucchini, onion, crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, beans, tomato paste, and garlic to the turkey mixture and give it a good stir.

3

Cover the slow cooker and set it on low.

4

Taste the chili and add sugar or syrup if desired. Serve in a bowl, topped with optional garnishes.

Enjoy!
