Besides cooking for the blog, so much fun stuff has been happening here in Vermont. Also known as the 802. First of all there has been some major gardening going on around these parts. I’ll tell you more about that tomorrow.

Did you hear I got to cook on live TV? Wahhh? It was so freakin’ fun and cool and all that good stuff. I made these pancakes for a special mother’s day recipe.  I loved it and can’t wait to go back. Fluttery stomach and all. Here is the clip from WCAX.

What else is new? Well I was asked to be a brand ambassador for Healthy Living Market, which is an independently owned natural foods market (and cafe) here in Vermont. This is a huge honor, since I heart them and shop there like every day. No joke. Even cooler, instead of calling me a brand ambassador I am called a Taste Maker. Look at me all fancy in my taste makingness.

This salmon recipe on ifoodreal makes my mouth water! I can’t wait to try it.

OMGggg BuzzFeed asked me what I eat for breakfast! And I told them. 🙂 Here’s what I said and a bunch of other healthy peeps too.

I have to make these Maple Dijon Glazed Chicken Skewers from Lovely Little Kitchen. STAT! Because you know… maple….

If you have rhubarb on hand, make sure you check out this Rhubarb Cardamom Crumb Cake by Foodness Gracious. I love the combo of cardamom and rhubarb together, so I am psyched to try it myself.

I will be back with more news about the garden and a recipe for Salad Month tomorrow!

Happy Cooking!
