Ingredients

  • 1 sweet tart apple, such as pink lady
  • 1 pound beets, scrubbed
  • 1 pound carrots, scrubbed
  • 1 to 1.5 ounces fresh ginger root (about 2 to 3 inch chunk)
  • 1 bunch kale, chopped and rinsed

Instructions

  1. Cut apple, beets, carrots and ginger into long narrow strips (if necessary) to fit through feed-tube of juicer. Set up catch cup (it will need to hold a quart.)
